When it appears on a page, the icon shows that the page generates a feed you can read on your computer. Once you have suscribed, you will receive messages about selected new products in our catalog and you will receive other informations about this shop.

This selling site is one of the first to offer this new technology every one is speaking about trough the Web.

How suscribe with RSS feed? You need an RSS agregation tool or so-called feed reader. Many of it, free or not, are accessible on the web. You will find some free there:  SauceReader, intraVnews (Plugin for Outlook), SharpReader, FeedReader, Syndirella.

Meanwhile, Mozilla Firefox offers the Live Bookmarks technology, allowing a minimal approach of RSS feeds use. In the bottom right corner of FireFox, the icon may appear. By clicking on this icon, You may add to your bookmarks a live list of product last introducted in our catalog in the category of the selected page and all the subcategories if any.

What is RSS agregation ? RSS agregation (Really Simple Syndication) looks like the news group that are broadcasted trough E-mail. But, unlike newsgroups that are crowded by unwanted E-mails (because they use the "pop" method that allows anybody to send messages to the group), RSS agregation is totally away from pirates because you choose the data you want to receive ("push" method). RSS is often mistaken with Blogs, because many blogs use it; but it is a more general technology, like demonstrated by the present use in a selling site.

When you click on the icon , you will see the content of the RSS feed. Thus you may examine the content of the feed before you suscribe.

How to suscribe with RSS feeds on this site ? There are two types of feeds on this site : last added products and informations.

You choose the category of products last added to the catalog you want to be warned about. Just follow the directions of your prefered feed reader to suscribe with the feed.

To receive information about all categories, use the feed at the page entitled "Our products".

To receive information about a particular category, and about all depending subcategories if any, select the proper page in the catalog. If needed, select a particular product to let the "Last added products" frame appear.

Information feeds may appear on the site top page, or in certain pages (still under work).

Many feed readers allow selecting the feed trough dragging and dropping the link "Suscribe with this RSS feed" on the right of the icon into the appropriated area. Some others, less sophisticated, request you to give the url of the .xml file. In this case, click the button and copy the address appearing on your navigator, e.g.: http://bidiweb.com/cm/news/new_products_french-c29.xml.
